Betty J. Marlow age 83 of Macomb, formerly of Tennessee, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She was born November 8, 1935, in Quincy, Illinois to Howard and Pearl Johnson Jarvis. She was united in marriage December 20, 1953, in Carthage, Illinois to Jasper E. (Speed) Marlow, he preceded her in death on July 10, 2006.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 2 Daughters: Donna (Ron) Wetzel, Colchester, Doris and Eric Scheirer, Greentown, PA., 1 Son In Law: Robert Bisby, Colchester, 6 Grandchildren: Brooklee (Brad) Whitford, Ryan (Amanda) Wetzel, Jennifer (Todd) Westfall, Holly (Nick) Westgerdes, Megan (Brian) Alt, Wesley Scheirer, 11 Great Grandchildren, 5 Brothers: Bennie Jarvis, Kenneth (Barbara) Jarvis, Kail (Mary) Jarvis, Ricky Jarvis, Rex (Debbie) Jarvis, 2 Sisters: Debra (Marty) Decker, Nellie Cameron, and 1 Sister In Law: Kathryn Jarvis.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 Daughter: Dixie Bisby, 2 Brothers: Howard Jarvis, Loren Jarvis and 1 Sister: Rosalie Jarvis.
Betty was a member of the Tennessee United Methodist Church, Colchester Methodist Church, Tennessee United Methodist Women, past member of the Rebecca Lodge, she enjoys to read and crochet. Betty had worked at the Colchester State Bank for 13 years and then retired from First Federal Savings Bank after 19 years.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Jones Mortuary, Colchester, with Rev. Jim Clayton. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 12 noon Friday. Memorials: Macomb Senior Transportation, Lafayette Square Residents Fund, Colchester Methodist Church.
