Twila K. Schrodt age 84 of Colchester, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb. She was born November 6, 1935 in Topeka, Kansas, to Benjamin and Hazel Louderman Prichard. She was united in marriage May 21, 1983 in Colchester to George Schrodt.
Surviving to mourn her passing is her Husband of 36 years George Schrodt, Colchester, 1 Son: Greg (Dee) Bartlett, Powder Springs, Georgia, 3 Daughters: Brenda (Dalen Kelly) Williams, Tennessee, Debbie (Charlie) Schwalm, Canton, Lori (Scott) Sibbing, Colchester, 3 Step Children: Tim (Gina) Schrodt, Canton, Daniel (Susan) Schrodt, Ohio, Boyd (Kathy) Bramer, Vermont, 7 Grandchildren: Carrie (Edward) Peters, Matt (Katie) Denney, Blake (Devyn) Denney, Kirk (Sarah Skiles) Denney, Ramon (Ashley) Bartlett, Cris Bartlett, Nico Bartlett, 5 Great Grandchildren with 2 more Great Grandchildren on the way this year, 2 Step Grandchildren: Chris Sibbing, Sonja Sibbing along with 6 other Step Grandchildren, 6 Step Great Great Grandchildren, 1 Brother: Ben (Penny) Prichard, East Peoria, 1 Sister: Bonnie Fisher, Macomb, many Nieces and Nephews, and Glen (Sheryl) Bartlett.
Twila was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Grandson: Anthony Williams, 1 Son In Law: Zeke Williams, 1 Step Son: Marion Schrodt, 1 Step Grand Daughter: Katrina Schrodt, 2 Sisters: Jane Burcham, Betty Brown, and 1 Twin Brother: Sammy Pritchard.
Twila had worked in Health Care, for many years working at the Colchester Nursing Center, McDonough District Hospital, The Elms Nursing Home and the McDonough County Health Department. She enjoyed camping , riding her bike, cheering for the Chicago Bulls, shopping, yard sales, playing the piano, gardening, visiting with friends and dancing. She loved to cook for her family and friends, her noodles were always a hit with her family. She always made sure the boys of the Colchester 7th and 8th grade basketball team had a meal. Twila was a member of the Macomb Church of God Abrahamic Faith, and loved the time she spent at her church. When Twila’s grandson Anthony was singing with the Beck Brothers Band you could always count on Twila to be there to support him. Of all the things that Twila enjoyed doing in her life, Her family was and always will be the love of her life.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. Larry Rickard. Burial will follow the services at the funeral home at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home after 9:00 A.M.
