Donald “Bud” Creasy age 82 of Colchester, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at North Adams Home in Mendon. Bud was born September 7, 1935 in Colchester, to Ralph and Irene Marlow Creasy. He was first united in marriage on December 2, 1956, to Lois Edgerton. He then was united in marriage September 2, 1978 in Colchester to Iris (Clark) Miller.
Surviving to mourn his passing are his wife: Iris of Colchester, 1 Son: Stanley (Renea) Creasy, Colchester, 2 Daughters: Shawnna Schertz, Macomb, Shelley Beldon, Florida, Step Sons: Dave (Dee) Miller, Plymouth, Rick Miller, Plymouth, Eric Miller Plymouth, Dean (Tammy) Miller, Murreyville, Aaron (Joyce) Miller, Augusta, Justin (Teretha) Miller, Plymouth, 2 Step Daughters: Ann (Phil) Keefauver, Colchester, Nannette Miller, Arkansas, Several Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren, 1 Sister: Ada Darling, Greenup, Illinois, 1 Sister In Law: Sandra Lovell, Plymouth, Several Nieces and Nephews.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Son: Stacey Creasy, 1 Brother James Creasy, 3 Sisters: Edna Mae Sheppard, Vera Clark, Donna Clauson, 1 Infant Brother: Asa and 2 Infant Grand Daughters: Emily and Amanda.
Bud was a member of the Colchester First Christian Church, Past member of the Colchester Fire Department and Colchester Lions Club. He had worked for Thermagas, Dolly Enterprise, Carson's Plumbing and Heating and the City of Colchester where he was head of the Water and Street Department from which he retired. Bud also farmed his entire life.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the Jones Mortuary, with Rev. Dan Ormond. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturday and after 9:00 A.M. Sunday till time of services. Memorial is to the North Adams Home in Mendon, Colchester Fire Department or Colmar Christian Church.
