I agree that Chuck was a very good hearted person and I am so glad to have known him while he worked at WIU. I started work at WIU April 1978 so it was awhile ago that I first met Chuck. He always had a smile. Sorry that his life has ended on this earth.

I am sorry to hear that Chuck passed away. I worked with Chuck back in the 70's on Earl's farm. I caught up with him years later at WIU. Nice man. He will be missed.

What a great man who loved his Country in that he served in the military; love his Community- family and commitment to his wife, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; worked at WIU; and loved the Church as a committed Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. Heaven awaits you, my friend.

Jon and Erik, I didn't think about it at the time, but I should have exchanged contact info with you. My mailing address is PO Box 93, Bettendorf, IA 52722. My email address is julie_blasi@hotmail.com. My phone number is 563-940-9079. I also wish that we would have stayed for the luncheon. I only caught bits and pieces of what you two are up to these days. Mel said that Jon's at Bradley University. That's in Peoria, Illinois, right? And I heard that Erik is in Indiana. Ron, Charles, and I stopped by to visit with your Dad a few years ago. He showed us pictures of his grandchildren. Evelyn was very gracious to us. I went back to school to become a medical assistant. I work at Bovenmyer Dermatology. I've been there since July 15, 2005. Please catch me up with your lives. Thank you. It was nice to see both of you. I wish that it could have been a happy occasion. Yours truly, Julie
